Help Jamal Breathe Again – Bronx Father Needs Lung Transplant

Jamal, a 38-year-old devoted father of three and veteran Bronx MTA bus driver, is battling for his life.  Doctors have concluded that a double lung transplant is his sole chance of survival after years of battling chronic lung illness.  For Jamal and his family, the expense of the operation, the trip for medical treatment, and the prolonged recuperation period is too much to bear. 

Every contribution will help Jamal get the surgery, medication, and support he needs to recover and be there for his family again. Jamal has always prioritised his community and family, driving long shifts to support his kids and never missing a birthday or school event. Today, he needs our help, and his wife, Melissa, has taken time off work to care for him, further straining their financial situation.
